haha, i made a character based on Derf (what he looks like at least, + survivalist specialty) and played it for a little. The 2d sidescrolling got old after a while tho, as did the wooden animations in fighting. But the idea is great, and the game looks like it was made with a lot of love.

Yeah, same gripes as Ox. My Ox-based character had, if I remember correctly, focused skills on:

Searching (looting)
Smarts (a bit of brain)
Survival ("screw you guys, i'm saving myself")
Long Guns (Ie, shotguns... Gotta have some gun skillz)

Would have added Blunt if there was a 5th category to choose.

It's crazy that I'm now seen as the quintessential lootwhore because of L4D. :P I'm actually not that much of a lootmeister in most games, but in L4D looting a medkit or pills was equivalent to survival sometimes. Well, it was for people with my mindset. :roll:
