It looks like the damage is minimal. But even if it doesn't change a thing for your steam account security, it's always a good idea to change it once every while. :roll:

yea, funny, but incomplete. It ignores the use of dictionaries. correcthorsebatterystaple ends up being 4 words in a 500,000 word dictionary (guesstimate). So, in effect, it's a 4 character password in an alphabet composed of 500,000 letters. Not so hard for a computer to guess after all.

The commentor saying 8 digits is not enough is not entirely correct or right. There was an article at toms, i think, talking about cracking your neighbours wifi password and it takes about 300 years to crack a strong 8 digit password using a gtx460, (1400 years on cpu). Using 2x6990 would cut it down to only 30 years but still.
