  Hard resetArs Technica had an article on this upcoming game (due September). Apparently it's a PC-focused game, high on the graphics, single player, in the style of Doom and away from the on-rails shooter of late. Lots of praise from someone who apparently grew up playing the kinds of shooters I did. :p At any rate, worth keeping an eye on.

Re: Hard reset The dev team is a mix of CD Projekt Red (Witcher), People Can Fly (Painkiller) and other good dev teams. Should be interesting.

Re: Hard reset Looks quite nice; though I think I've grown out of what I refer to as "meat slugger" games. I dislike the idea of unloading an entire clip in to one enemy and not have it drop - when as a kid I thought that was fantastic, now-a-days I prefer to one shot some punk in the head and be done with it!
