So, I was talking to Satis about this last weekend, and while I may have been drunk off my ass and him perhaps as well (wild guess) I still think it's a nice idea. Basically it's a singleplayer and co-op puzzler/shooter based on the TR universe, and it's gotten some very decent reviews on metacritic and a really positive co-op review on co-optimus.

The gameplay looks pretty smooth and it's 'only' 15€, so that's nice too. There's a demo so we could try that first to make sure we don't hate it to hell. :P Anyone other than Satis possibly interested in some co-op play? If so, download the demo and we'll hook up some time.

Yeah, I spotted this too and was instantly interested. But RPS said there was no coop, so I didn't take it any further.

Is there or isn't there coop?

There definitely is - maybe you're thinking about Trine?

Anyway, I'm downloading the demo so we'll know soon enough.

Wasn't the whole idea of deviating from the original formula to provide solid multiplayer experience?

Well, it looks like you were partially right Derfinho: in some bizarre way, there isn't online co-op for the PC and PS3 versions yet. Bizarre because: the game was originally touted for its co-opness etc etc (so far so good), but when it came out on the Xbox 360 late August it offered no online co-op at all. Instead EA promised they'd implement it as soon as it was optimised.

At the end of September, the online co-op for the Xbox 360 came out together with the PC and PS3 versions of the game. But the PC and PS versions don't have online co-op yet, they will get it only later.

Fucking marketing BS. So hold your horses for now.

On the bright side: the little I played yesterday in SP was a lot of fun.I honestly think 2-player co-op could be awesome, but yeah, we'll have to wait until it gets implemented then. :/

That's retarded. I'm glad I didn't buy the game.

It's on sale, and the online MP was implemented a week or two ago. :)

Anyone feel like doing a co-op with me? If so I'll buy it now! It's supposed to be really good.

We just did the first level and it's amazing amounts of fun. Total endorsement from me and Derf. If you got someone to do it in co-op with you you won't regret buying it, and now it's on sale it may be the right moment to do so. For Satis and Shiny it's even more perfect since they can actually tell each other what to do irl without having to rely on choppy voice chat (the only issue me and Derf had with the game really). :)

3 thumbs up!

We played two more levels, quite possibly the most co-op fun I've had in a long time!

To give you an idea of how the game plays in co-op: here's a vid of the first level done in co-op. The small window shows what the game is like in SP, but you can ignore it really.

The first few minutes are story intro and can be skipped if you want. :)
