What the hell Derf, your wishlist is full of shit, how do you expect anyone to gift you a game when you leave them with that.

Probably not, my rambling was a result from a conversation with Ox.

Yeah, similar thank yous from me! I'm about to start Peltz' LA Noire gift, looking forward to how it plays.

I'm alternating between swtor and Rage (which I bought for myself). I look forward to some of the other games.

You digging Rage? I'm sure you vaguely remember my (positive, but not ecstatic) opinion about the game. It's a game with a lot of cool stuff in it but suffers from some definite problems too.

I'm up for the co-op stuff after the singleplayer campaign btw ;)

Yea, it's not bad. I'm finding it enjoyable. It's very pretty. On the other hand, it's not open enough, there's not much variety, etc. I can't recall your review... I presume it was similar. Not a bad game, just not as amazing as it could've been.

Yeah, I think it was along the same lines. Enjoyable in some ways (the boomerang weapons, the spider robots, the graphics, RC bombs and so forth, even the race to some extent) but also flawed in restricting you and not giving you the freedom that was 'promised'. Anyway, enjoy. :) I saw you did Dead City for the first time, one of the best parts of the game for me.

Getgames (they're legit, bought from them in the past) is having a pretty interesting sale. Get to pick two games off a list and pay 12 bucks for them.

http://www.getloadedgo.com/

Some interesting titles on there, like Arkham City GOTY, MoW: AS GOTY, Civ V etc.

Of course me, Satis and Peltz will be owning Civ V in a matter of days anyway, if the Xcom preorder doesn't totally bomb.

GoG offers a crapload of Interplay games on a "pay-what-you-want" system. Well, actually they offer 8 for 'free' (1 dollar transaction fee), then a whole lot more if you match or exceed the average payment. Still, 8 games virtually free..actually GoG often has games for free on offer. SOmetimes as a promotion, sometimes permanently. I'm guessing more than half of my portfolio on there are free games. :) So worth checking in once in a while.

Just wanted to quickly say thanks to all of you who were so kind to gift me a game!! I hope everyone who I gifted one too is happy with theirs too, I got all of them off your wishlists I think so shouldn't be a problem. :)

Apart from the Steam sale I keep an eye on GoG's daily offers too, some good stuff in there. Of course the sale is nearing its end now, but you may still find something you like on a good discount.
