I see. I don't think we have anything similar around here, a bachelor's is the 'standard' degree. So an associate degree is 2 years, a bachelor's 4 and a master's 5 in the US?

A Masters Degree typically takes more than one additional year of schooling from a Bachelors. My brother I believe took 3 additional years, but picked up 2 masters. But then again he was also working on his PHD. A law degree is considered an equivalent of a masters, but obviously in law, and it takes about 3 years full time to achieve. So for a law degree, you usually go full time to school for 7 years.

It used to be 4+1 for masters but that changed a few years ago and now its 3+2. Theoretically it is possible to do masters in one but practically it would mean utter and complete lack of social and work life.

yea, I only take 2 classes per semester and one during the summer. So at the rate of 5 classes a year, it's going to take me a LONG time. Unless I somehow get rich and can go to school without working.

Alternatively, you could stop drinking, gaming and partying and spend that time studying instead. Hahahaha.

Yea....no. I took 3 classes one spring to finish up my last degree... that totally sucked. Though I guess I could do it if I had to. Nah, no thanks, I'll just piddle along slowly and keep my sanity.

Splinter Cell Double Agent is 5€/5$. Not a bad investment.

It is different for small time periods but for an entire semester? /sigh
Honestly, having people stay with us is not a big deal. But then again, most people who have stayed with us are pretty chill and laid back. I know one of my friends took my car for a day and drove around. Some just chill while satis runs away t play games, etc. We always have extra computers/games, so you'd be fine

Hehehe, awesome. Just so I wouldn't bother anyone.
@ Peltz: Double Agent (the PC port) will always be remembered by me as the game that had no 'quit' button in the main menu screen in the first port version. You had to actually ctrl-atl-del and kill it to quit the game. There was no other way...dude! I think they fixed that by now, as well as some of the bugs in-game, so should be a good buy now. But seriously, no quit button?!

More sales!
On steam, the (excellent) Penmbra series is dirt cheap:

King's Bounty for 10 bucks on Gamersgate

And you can pre-order the entire season of Monkey Island games that are in development. Telltalegames are the guys behind the Sam & Max games, which are real fun.

Great to see these heroes are doing Monkey Island. I'll be looking out for these two (they're also doing a remake of The Secret of Monkey Island).
EDIT: Scratch that, LucasArts is doing the remake. Here's the site: http://www.lucasarts.com/games/monkeyisland/

Oh yes, they're great. I want to start with Wallace & Grommit too, but I have no time for that now.
