Remember the spy update? It had this return-coupon fake ad for Saxton Hale Industries for some gear (Saxton Hale is the CEO/Australian).

 Saxton Hale's origin/connection to TF2 is actually hinted at the Halloween update background story, as well as where the rivalry between teams Red and Blu comes from. Have a read.

Pfft, amateur! I got a full...erh, 4 I think? Halo, Bill's beret, the Ghastly Gibus and the Scout's Baker Boy hat.
I'm getting pretty pwnz0r as a scout btw...ask O'Cram. Depending on the kind of map (capture point mostly) I chalk up one kill after another. Just regular build (scattergun-pistol-bat) even tho I have the force-a-nature and the bat that can knock people out. I find their advantages don't weigh up against their drawbacks. Haha, really? That's pretty cool. I love the scout's brazen cockiness. I think his accent is from NJ? Not sure though. I know when you're dominating a player or going on a killstreak as a scout that he starts to go "Oh dude, dude, I'm OWNING you" while laughing incredulously.

So did any of you play during halloween? Any hats? I got an achievement (for killing spies) but that's about it. My TF2 playing is extremely limited right now... I'd rather play Borderlands and DDO. |

Hehehe, I got the top hat and all the halloween achievements except the spy one on a few hours of play on the Halloween map in the Halloween weekend. I've come quite a long way from TF2 n00b to pwning with quite a few classes now.
