Help! I need two names for my newest turtles... the other 3 turtles we have are named the following: Loki Fenris Grendel The tortoises' we have are names the following: Kafka Katia Dogs names: Will Twig Akira Cat: Suki (sai-yuk) Bird: Sparkle So any suggestions.... (yes it is a bit bazaar for me milk the forums for names, but damnit they must have names... we kinda wanted to stay with names from literature, philo., and mythology... Hugs

If I had gotten two turtles I'd name them Malcolm and Herman after Malcolm Lowry and Herman Melville. Alternatively, Victor and Hugo would make a nice pairing 
More mythologically you could say: Sleipnir (Odin's horse with 8 feet, nicely sarcastic for a turtle) Seeing as you've got a Grendel you might want a Beowulf If I think of any others I'll let you know. |

Well, sparkle is a freakin' bird. I think it's pretty appropriate. 
I like Sleipnir. I'd forgotten about him. Keep coming with the names.

Please keep them coming... I like a few of those names, but they willl go probably to our fish.... Mr. Satis would like to go somewhat with a Norse Mythology types of name.... See he is in hell here with all of our pets... so I have to keep him happy by letteing him have kinda a final say on the pet names I keep bringing home by the litter. |
