Heh, when I'm going to find a room in Delft, where I study, I'm gonna try to get a room in one of the student flats, who basicly have a big LAN network and fast connection to internet.
But I'm afraid that will be a while.

*cries* damn you all having a faster connection! damn you i say!!! hehe
well it works for me. til i defragged my comp the other day, it refused to connect any faster than 22.2kbps, when it was using a 56.6k modem! stupid thing. soon as i defragged, went up to 44 every time. *kicks it* ha, don't need you now!

Well soon im getting 1000kb connection. Too bad i need to pay £34.99 for it a month...($64, 51 E's).

My upload is pretty wack, and I'm always uploading to eMule to get credit. But when I'm in Delft I might run a ftp server too.

a 256 upload is fast? That's only 32KB/sec.  Well, I guess it's fast for dialup.
$64? Holy crap. I'm paying ~$50 for mine.

Well, about every kind of electronics and connection is way cheaper in the US. But they don't got the best network in the world, that's scandinavia and switzerland iirc. Belgium sucks, as usual.

lol. I need to save a copy of this thread somewhere. Korea's got a badass network too...I think they have 60%+ broadband saturation. US has nowhere near that much.
