lol, J, I was just kidding about the avatar. Getting kinda defensive there, eh? hmmmm... maybe you are gay? And afraid to admit it? It's ok J, you can come out of the closet. You're among friends (who are very far away)...

I put the picture up as a temporary one in search for a better one, but never got to the point to actually replace it. So your comment just reminded me of that. I'm not gay, so there's no closet to come out of. End of discussion. :P

And yes derf, a lot of fun. The picture is taken on a 'cantus', where a lot of people are singing songs and drinking bears. The club i'm in is a guy-only one btw. Damn i made it sound gay again. :D

If you wanna see more pictures of a 'cantus' or another student-activity, you can see on this link. And if you see me looking weird or such, i blame the guy that takes the pictures.

Guy only clubs are cool. My rowing club has a men-only fleet.

club is like a group of people not a dancing or so.

Just a bunch of friends that love to party and drink beer, and that`s what we do all the time when we get together. There`s an active part, those that are still at uni, each year we get a few new members (fresh blood to keep it alive), and there are the old farts that occasionally drop by (like me now).

The advantage of a mens only club is that there are no sissy girls to complain or get into a discussion, drinking with only guys or with both guys and girls is a big difference. But there are girls-only clubs too, which is great because every year we try to have a cantus with them. My gf is in such a club btw (not active, old fart too :P )

Every year we go on a weekend on a farm from one of our members (a house they don`t really use). The amount of alcohol that is consumed there is astonishing. Combined with an almost constant bbq you can imagine why some people gain about 5kg in weight on one weekend  (no not me).

I doubt women would like to go in there anyway.

Go in where? it's not a place, it's a group of people. And women tend to drink less and enjoy getting drunk and playing 'beer-pingpong' and such less, so they wouldn't feel at ease with us on such a weekend. But with a 'cantus' (singing of songs and drinking remember) they can drink on their on speed so that's fun most of the time. I noticed that they always tend to bring something along to eat, care to explain that pevil? Like chips,'haring', and stuff.

You know how it is with a lot of guys together -> they act like pigs and mess the whole place up. :D

not quite the same but i have one lesbian mate and one bi. the bi used to be my best mate and still would be if she wasn't living in leeds now! but basically i just always ignored it. coz whether she fancied me or not didn't come into it. it's like if you had a female mate, she *could* fancy you at one point of your friendship. just the same kinda thing

I know what you mean. Every woman I've ever known or met has wanted me (because I'm so gorgeous), but I just pretend it's not there and we can be friends. I'm so hot.

Shame on you J, it's a herring in English. You should have known from Monty Python and the Holy Grail ("And then thou shalt cut down the mightiest tree in the forest with.. a herring!")
