and why is that then?.....answer: press coverage, media exploitation of the facts so that smoking is made socially unacceptable, they do it to scare little 14 year old's not to smoke

oh and btw, exhaust fumes don't tend to cause cancer because there are so few carcinogens within it, exhaust fumes cause other types of problems, eating burnt food is more likely to give you cancer than exhaust fumes. Though exhaust fumes will be more harmful it won't be because of cancer.

Smog however can cause cancer, and not it's not just exhaust fumes that make up smog...

*edit* something makes me think this topic has kinda lost it's original intentions*

I can see why you'd like to be. Theres not too much physical training (it seems) but there is an awful lot of attention to detail. For example: Training:

Recruit has to spend 24hrs in a field or wood positioning himself so that he can not be seen by the drill instructor. Then, the drill instructor holds up a card with a letter on it. The recruit has to radio the letter, (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie...) then the instructor moves to anotherlocation and holds up another card. (During all this there is also a spotter with bino's with the Instructor). If the recruit gets spotted, he fails.

CRAZY SHIT!

And if he fails, is it like Monty Python's "Not to be seen sketch"? I'ld love that.

"This man has learned the first lesson of not to be seen. However, he choose an obvious hideout... Boom"
I believe the whole episode was called "And now for somethhing completely different."
