This is America. We don't close shit on holidays. I mean, I was off, but I don't work in retail. Pretty much all the stores are open on holidays now. Not banks, I don't think. They're still assholes.

While I should have figured that, you're also living in a state that partially doesn't allow the sale of alcohol on Sundays (and I assume public holidays).  So yeah!

Nah, just Sundays. No beer until 10am, no liqour at all. To discourage people coming to church drunk, I'm sure. Also no alcohol sales after 10pm (in stores) any day, I believe. That crap is slowly, slowly going away, thankfully. I'm still hoping they legalize pot in the next decade. |

That's here in Estonia as well. Now starting from 8pm every 15minutes they remind you that no alcohol can be bought after ten. So people now buy just in case alcohol. |
