yeah, but that defeats the object of a pet if you ask me. The best thing about a pet is that you can spend time playing with it, fussing it and training it! that seems to be the point as far as i'm concerened. A dog is much more loyal than a cat, a cat would defend its self, a well looked after dog would defend you. And cats rarely learn tricks or any cool such stuff that is cool to show of with! So down with cats! |

Satis, you must have an awesome dog then.... Ok, bed thing. One of the purposes of having a cat is so you get an everlasting hot water bottle.... with a dog, that doesn't work. What type of dog is yours? Most dogs have much coarser hair that cat fur. Rodents? Alive? Not usually.... Yea - most dogs enjoy running around barking - which is a pain if you're trying to sleep. Also - that only works with a big garden. With a small one you're supposed to walk them. You have a very unique dog if he doesn't need occupying at all.... Dogs do. Yes, I suppose, but most people need to. Meh - dogs are still very cool - but cats are better. |

lol, that post was so confused I'm just gonna consider it rhetorical. I like my big dog (I also have a small, retarded dog). I really dig my cat, too. And my water turtles... and my land turtle, and tortoise. The good (big) dog is a golden retriever / hound dog mix, so he's got long, soft fur. Not AS soft as the cat, granted, but pretty close. And he will let you lay your head on him. He's a very good dog. You can yank his tale while he's eating and he won't do anything about it. |

they're cool. They're not really a 'loving' animal like cats or dogs, but they're neat in their own way. I love watching them eat. Didja know turtles/tortoises have tongues? heheh. If you're gonna get a turtle/tortoise, go for a tortoise. Maybe a Leopard tortoise. They're expensive, but they live a long time and get really large. I have a russian tortoise. http://www.matts-turtles.org/tortoise/t ... eldi11.jpg she looks just like that, will live to be about 50, and get to be the size of a dinner plate. |
