Interesting. I wonder if that has to do with particular local mismanagement, or indicative of a larger trend? Even though you would think more people would resort to fast food during a crisis period, I have to point out that McDo's is actually not all that cheap over here. Maybe it's better in other countries, but I can get a decent ( much healthier) meal at a non-fast food restaurant for about the same or slightly more money as a decked out McDo's visit.

Well according to the article it has to do with the way food is prepared and treated as a whole. And McD just happens to be the complete opposite of it. This time the traditions mopped the floor with modern trends.

Good for the Bolivians. I wish America would trend to healthier food overall. I'm tired of seeing obese people everywhere I look. :roll:

haha, I can only imagine what it must be like to be surrounded by people who

- are sweaty and smelly
- take up 2-3 seats
- wheeze and breathe heavily all the time, after every 5 meters they walk

I hate the last part the most...when you can hear someone breathing a table away because they had to walk to the bar or restaurant, you know shit is bad. :P
