Hey Satis, any exotic zoos near you? You might want to stock up on some ammo.

hehe, I have plenty of ammo, thank you. We have the Dallas zoo, the Fort Worth zoo and the Dallas Aquarium... maybe some more. *shrug* I'm not too worried... all those animals would have to make it through traffic.

Messed up story though... I caught some of it earlier via news stories. the keeper released the animals and then killed himself? Police shooting animals with sidearms? For some reason I get the impression that saving the animals is the furthest from the police's mind and they're just fulfilling their big game hunter fantasies. Losers.

Actually we do have an exotic animal sanctuary nearby that is similar to the one that made the news. Although I believe it really only has different types of cats. Lions, Tigers, Bobcats, etc. The local news is now comparing the two to sensationalize the story and make people afraid.

Yeah I read that and thought the same as Satis. I mean ok if they're in the middle of a town/populated area, shoot them, much as I hate the idea if it's the only way to keep people safe then fine, but the ones that were still by their cages? Tranquilisers! Yeesh, no need to kill them for being let loose by some weirdo.

Satis and I do not drive SUV's :) We are not sheep! or are we? Although we do often rent them when we go snowboarding- but we need the space then for our snowboards - those suckers are long.
