Haha, yeah, I love it when you ask them questions and they don't answer "yes" or "no" and float a sort of maybe (usually not explicitely so). Then the conversation somehow always changes direction and you drop it, only to say bye and think "wait did I make any sort of progress here?!". Them girls be weird. |

A common conversation: Me: Do you want to do A or B? Her: Let's do C. What the shit. This was a binary choice. Zero or one. You cannot answer two. |

Haha. My mom is a scatterbrain and conversations with us, her three sons, typically go something like this: Us: "So what happened yesterday?" her: "I just went to the store" Us: "That's cool but we don't care, we want to know what happened yesterday" Or, worse: Us: "So what happened yesterday?" Her: "It's really cold outside" Us: "....." Seriously, questions are made to be answered by the answer that is requested. Not by - random statements - another answer that seems unrelated to what you are asking - another question, usually not answering your question at all |

Yea, Shiny's known for doing that from time to time as well. I blame the copious amounts of alcohol she consumes. |

It's not the alcohol, it's the extra X chromosome. This one cracks me up: Derf: "Okay, which do you think is correct? ... [20 second hypothesis] ... A or B? Gf: " ... Sorry, what was the question?" Derf: Or this one: Gf: "You don't understand me!" Derf: "I understand you perfectly well. Doing something about it is what's difficult." Gf: "No, you don't understand me!" Derf: Or this one: Gf: "Why did you do that?" Derf: "I didn't." Gf: "Yes you did." Derf. |

Heh @ that last one. They tell you a story about something going bad or someone being a douche, and then you tell them how to deal with it and they get angry because instead of just listening to the same boring story over and over again, you told them what to do about it. So much for trying to help. |

When men tell other people about something, they want a solution. When women tell other people about something, they want sympathy. Reversing those two is a recipe for trouble. |
