In my case the last sentence would probably just read 'static'. I don't know why women so often assume I'm actually thinking anything...most of the time I'm just zoning out. Not that will surprise anyone here. |

Yeah same deal here. Always hearing "What's up?" or "What are you thinking about?" |

Yea, most of the time when I'm staring off I'm just thinking of random shit. Not necessarily "nothing", but definitely not anything specific. I really ought to answer. "What are you thinking about?" "Well, I was thinking about how clouds are fractal patterns, then I was thinking about how fractals work in calculus, and then I was thinking about how to code calculus in javascript, and then I was thinking about how it would be cool to fractally draw a cloud in javascript, and then I thought about the browser performance impact, and then I thought about how Firefox locks up on me all the time, and then I thought about how Chrome's forms seem to work funky, and then I thought about using javascript to work around it...." Yea... I bet if you answer that way a couple times they'll stop asking. |

lol @ gift story. Very familiar. The thing that I will never get over or accept is not that they say different things than what they want, but that the rules change all the time. Sometimes 'yes' means 'no', but the next time it may not. Sometimes you're expected to be honest, other times you should lie - even though in both cases the setup is usually the same, ie a question. Meh. Not being a mindreader, I have for a while now commited to just saying the truth in every situation and that they should just deal with it. Needless to say, I am still very much single. |

lol Ox. Having been with Shiny for just a few years short of forever, I'm slowly beginning to understand when she says one thing and means another. Sometimes. The truth is she's a loot whore in games, so I realize that if she ever tells me "I don't want anything", she's definitely lying. |
