i bought a new rifle yesterday.
It's a Bushmaster AR-15 carbine. I replaced the front hand guards with a quad rail, added a grip to it, and mounted a c-more red-dot sight. I also bought the carrying case. It was a pricey investment, unfortunately, but with my government all talking about bans and whatnot, I didn't have much of a choice.

Not that I'm an expert on these things but looks nice. Relatively small too, but that could just be the perspective. So I'm guessing this is classed as an assault rifle? Are there any restrictions on buying those in Texas? I'm assuming you don't have a criminal record for example. (but I wouldn't be surprised if you did hahaha)

I think that in order for it to classify as an assault rifle, it has to have either a burst fire or automatic fire mode (can have both). Can't really deduct that from the picture or Satis' text. If it has semi-auto fire mode only then its just a rifle.
