Immune? I think not. Italians have a way of changing this if it gets out of hand.

Berlusconi is busy making laws preventing that.

Erm, there are already laws against that. Did you see what happened 20 years ago?

Lol Derf, Silvio is very much immune. He had a law approved which grants the most important political figures of Italy (President, prime minister, secretary of state and such) COMPLETE immunity. As long as he doesn't shoot someone in the middle of the Vatican in front of thousands of ppl's eyes Berlusconi can't be brought to court. And likewise can he commit tons and tons of fraud without being sueable. :/

He had that law approved when he was in danger of being convicted in a huge scandal, and he stalled that lawsuit as long as possible until the law was passed, with 2 hour monologues about nothing.

By the time he's no longer in charge he'll prolly have swapped the most important judicial posts with his men, so he'll prolly slip away anyhoo, again. :/

Hehe...gotta love them southern european countries; Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal etc. Their politics are more of a charade than anything else. :)

Looking at the late republic of Rome, it's exactly the same, then came the emperors
