I will have that one. I only wish it to be series and not just a movie.
In the meantime, this is one more higher mediocre that might save a bored evening:
Taken (2008)

Max Payne looks promising. Is it the same story as the first game? It certainly seems like they've kept elements of it. We'll see if it's any good, but I sure hope it is. I loved both Max Payne games and wish they'd make another one.

I don't know how true it is to the story but there's every indication that it's gonna be fairly 'factual'. A lot of scenes in the trailer are almost exact replicas of MP1 scenes (the bank vault, the elevator in the big building with Mona disappearing in it, the diabolic references and atmosphere re: Jack Lupino....the flesh of fallen angels and all that ).
Looks like there'll be heavy focus on the diabolic part. I place the angel-ish figure in one shot in that context, Max' bad trip on V.
And Wahlberg gets the voice over in the first scene right. Which, by the way, is also based directly on the game:

Tron was one of the greatest movies of all time (at least in my opinion).
Here is a cam'd bootleg of a tron 2 (tr2n) trailer. It's a cam, so it's pretty bad quality, but man.... I think this movie is gonna rock.

Below the first video is a second one where someone edited the first to make it full screen and stabilize it some. It helps a bit. The light cycles are HOT.

omg omg omg Tron 2!! Awesome-o
Going to see The Dark Knight tomorrow...expecting it to be kick-ass. Actually saw a really good TV movie today, you know, the kind they play Saturday afternoon cause no one is watching.

At first I was like..."Eh...Michael Keaton" but then I got involved in the movie. An excellent low-budget movie, I recommend you rent it.

I saw "Waltz with Bashir" yesterday, an Israelian movie dealing with the war in Lebanon and more precisely the massacre in the refugee camps of Shabra and Shatila.
It's animated, and alternates between the director looking up old friends from the war and sequences from the war itself. Very vivid and clear, very honest too, without getting too heavy-handed. Well, expect for the last 5 minutes which are gruesome.
I can only recommend it:

You went to see it Gfree? It's great, I agree. I actually only saw 'Batman Begins' last Saturday on TV, and I was surprised how good that one was, too. And that the end scene actually tied in perfectly with the second movie (when the police chief tells Batman about a new villain in town with a flair for the theatric, and hands him the joker card).
I'm very grateful for what Frank Miller did with the Batman series. He turned him from something of a cheesy lame-o into a conflicted, brooding figure wrestling with dillema's. And highlighted the main appeal of Batman: he's not a superhero. Ie, he doesn't have any superpowers like Spiderman and the X-men etc. Sure, what he does is over-the-top and almost superhuman, but it's never 'supernatural'. Batman is just a guy in a suit, fighting your typical criminal scum and the occasional criminal mastermind. On some subconscious level we can relate to that. :p

Do I look to you like somebody who'd pay to see a movie? Heh... anyway.
In general I have aversion towards batman, spinderman, superman and the rest, but this movie I liked. Not sure about comics or other movies, but here we had a LG guy against a CE guy. Together with everything else, that is the stuff I like.
