It amazes me how the freaking president of the US gets away with completely out of line comments like these. I mean, it's one thing to call "terrorist" evil or whatever (still very unnuanced but bleh), but saying that the civilian population is willing to tolerate violence -mostly directed at them- is just...insane.

Even if there is the slightest of truth behind this (which is very hard to uncover) it should not be said by ANY politician in this way without hard facts. |
