A VERY interesting article and a point of view that really makes you wonder.

humm, so by letting Israel weaken Lebanon military bases, roads to syria, etc, its sets a better stage for launching an attack on Iran maybe syria?

Unlikely. With what troops does the US want to attack Syria and Iran anyway (and more importantly, keep the peace afterwards)?

The US doesnt need troops per say. Its fully capable of supplying Israel with munitions and firepower. Maybe the US wants to us Israel as cannon fodder against Iran then come in for a final strike.

I'd pave my frontyard with nuclear weapons. Then I'd buy an airgun and fire at the neighbourhood kids who come to play in my front yard. All in the name of safety, of course. :twisted:

Like Arathorn I find it hard to believe the US will personally storm in and attack Iran or Syria or whatever. Israel is more than capable of attacking those, but question is: what do they gain from that? As it stands I don't see too much profit in it for the Israelis.
