A Vodka lake is causing trouble in the Poland countryside :)

Quote:
Malfunctioning distillery turns lake into 30% proof vodka

Malfunctioning distillery turns lake into vodka. According to specialist analysis, the Bracholinskie lake in Wielkopolska is filled with alcohol.

The concentration of alcohol in the water amounts to 30% in some places. The phenomenon is a result of a technical problem in the nearby vodka production plant. "Our alcohol measuring equipment is not wrong. It recorded a level of 30%. There is vodka in this lake," stated chemist Robert Wilczynski. The news about the free vodka in the lake spread fast and attracted a number of farmers from nearby villages who arrived at the lake to take as much vodka as they can. Meanwhile local women are in despair and have turned to beg god to help save their husbands from the demon drink. "If God does not help us, everyone in the neighbourhood will be stinky drunkards and only a hole will be left on the site of our lovely lake," laments 76 year old Genowefa Licha

well, the first picture looks kinda like thermite, but there's not enough damage to the table in the second picture for that to be the case. In fact, there's very little damage to the table at all, considering the violence int he first picture.

I'm wondering if it's one of those cheapo, aftermarket batteries that have been exploding in peoples' laps for the last year.

Damnit, why couldn't that lake be a bit closer. :(

Oh and my money is on the crappy cheap battery as well. There have been problems with exploding mobile phones earlier, those turned out to have cheap fake batteries as well.

Lol, o2 x1 phones were recently recalled due to chargers setting on fire and batteries exploding.

And maybe the second picture is the first in the timeline.

Mm maybe something for later: A house with an little alcoholic fountain or so .. yes this opens possibilities.

And if i miraculously would have lots of money: a pond filled with alcholol and fish .. mmm that fish would taste delicious i'd say.

Apart from some heterosexual priorities it definitely is. :P Still recovering from the BBQ I organized for folks from class yesterday...was fun and all, but I might have overdone it on the beer department.

Not that I suffer from hangovers, but I do get dehydrated like shit. So I need to drink 2-3 bottles of water the next day. Sucks. :(
