NY Times Link from the article:
I wish our government made a push for robots in every home. Of course, I already have one. |

... it's a roomba. I used it to clean my carpet. And before you get all sicko on me, it doesn't use suction. |

level must be a british thing. But to answer what I think your question was, I use it to clean my entire house. It just kinda bounces around the house, cleaning as it goes. The battery probably lasts about 30-45 minutes, so it bounces around for that long, which means it covers most (if not all) of the house. Assuming it doesn't choke on a power cord or get stuck under something. Personally, I HATE vacuuming, and Roomba actually does a better job cleaning than my vacuum anyway. So, I get a clean house with no freakin' hassle. I'm thinking of buying another one (a red one, less than $150 I believe) just to get better coverage of my house. |

I lived there as a kid and then again when I was in the Army. I really dig it, though it's a totally different world. The culture is dramatically different than American or European culture... you have to expect that. Great place though. Mostly friendly people (there're assholes everywhere), great food, and the smell from the rice patties in spring is something you'll never forget. |
