Post Spontaneous Creativity: Game Concept
Ive just thought of a game i would really like to play.

It came to me as i was playing Doom3. I was using the flashlight (for those of you that dont know, that flashlight is graphical excellence) while entering a new room full of blood, corpses and other random stuff. There was so much visual information that i had to stop at the door, whip out the flashlight and examine what the hell was going on.

It came to me that if there was a game using the graphics engine similar to doom3 but having the game based on crime-scene-investigation, i would gladly buy it. Im thinking along the lines of a-la FBI or X-Files.

I just find the idea of scanning a beautifully detailed and information-rich room totally intriguing.

that's cool. Something along the lines of CSI or whatever? But hopefully less boring. :p

The guys from F.E.A.R. learned from Doom³'s mistakes. :) Their flashlight still has the 'only good for 1 minute' sundrome tho. Cane you imagine that irl? Highly trained elite units, flashlight tat lasts 20 seconds. That's some serious corrupt army contracting. :)

Anyhoo, your game is already done man, there's a CSI game. :) And well, in general, adventure/puzzle/detective games still exist, they're just getting rare. :( If you want a great adventure game check out Fahrenheit tho. That's some solid shit.
