man...I wish I was rich. Russia is offering the first space tourism flight to the moon. Only catch is it costs $100million.

Wasn't there talk about the N'Sync guy investing in this? Man, 100 million to risk getting blown up in space? no thanks. :) You'd really do this if you had the cash Satis?

Gotta love the Russians and their would-be capitalism. The irony is that their space vessels are safer than most other countries'.

I wouldnt pay £60m for this if i were Richard Branson. Think of what a Charity donation of £60m can achieve!

Charity? Like Live 8? I don't think those ever help, but we've been through that topic before I believe.

Hehe, so either you donate it directly to a virtual dictatorship (Russia) and get some kicks out of it, or donate it indirectly to dictatorships in Africa and get crap all. Morality aside, the choice should be clear. :)

I was thinking more along the lines of Cancer Research or some shit like that.

However, to make my self clear on this, suppose i had £60m to donate, i would arrange things personally, not do things through other charities. So i guess what i mean was to give it away "In-Charity". Basically, give it directly to the source.

lol. When Derf gets rich we'll all be standing in line for some of his gold. :P Love the new sig btw Derf. Makes me feel kinda special...besides, if Satis is in two of our sigs (Pig and mine) it's only natural I will follow, being sexier and all.

rofl...your sig is me singing a song about you...that's kinda odd.

Anyway...err....if I could really spare 100mill, yes, I'd do it. I'd be more tempted to put the cash in one of the startup aerospace tourism firms, though. I think I'd rather get a yearly trip into low earth orbit as a perk of being a major investor rather than a single trip to the moon. Still, that's cool as shit.

Oh, and before I forget, fuck charity. Charity doesn't help.

hahaha

i wouldn't spend $100 million on going to the moon

i'd do it the old fashioned way, i.e. become a fighter pilot, fly the ass of a plane til someone notices, then become an astronaut

Nah, why would you put your life on the line if being an astronaut is the ultimate goal? In that case simply spending 100 million would be much better. :)

hah me life on the line, i'd just be so good noone could ever shoot me down nor would i ever be foolish enough to fly into the ground/mountains

so barring my airplane blowing up on it's own it'd be all good, and surely then chances of dying of a stress induced heart attack while trying to earn enough so that $100 million is worth paying are more than that of your plane blowing up, so i reckon it wouldn't be too risky...
