PC Gaming is as doomed as it was in 2001,2002,2003,2004,2005,2006, 2007, 2008,2009 and will finally die completely in 2010. Someone will remake 2001: A Space Odyssey and the role of HAL will be played by an Xbox 360 Ultimate Supreme Edition running Windows 7 SP1( or for ps3 fanboys a ps3 hyper cell edition )

Now the 3D experience is hitting the home theater big time with all major TV makers putting out 3D HDTVs this year – but they're not for everyone, especially not children, the elderly, sleepy people, pregnant women and drunks.

Erm, so like who's supposed to watch the thing then, the pets?

Men and women who are not sleepy, drunk or pregnant? But how anyone would be not be at least one of those things at any given moment is beyond me... :wink:

wtf? That's a weird set of limitations. Did they justify them at all? Why the hell can't sleepy people watch 3d tv? Or children? Or the elderly? Drunks kinda make sense, if you're afraid they'll yak on your brand new tv, but even that seems a bit of a stretch. And pregnant women? Are they gonna yak too?

The news article is actually worth a read. Despite the "catchy" title it consists of interesting history.

Apple's entire history is based on stealing/"borrowing" ideas and remodelling them into something shinier, fancier and more accesible...so this wouldn't surprise me at all.

yea, there's nothing wrong with that. 99% of human advancement is taking something someone else did and making it just a little better. Big jumps don't happen very often. Which is a reason to hate the patent system.

http://www.tomsguide.com/us/Alien-NASA- ... -6529.html

Popular Science reports that a professor of genetics at Harvard University is currently working on a processor that can detect alien life. While NASA seems to have stalled any future plans in taking man beyond the International Space Station, Professor Gary Ruvkun is shooting to have this new processor on some type of land-roving vehicle bound for Mars.

But can it play....
No. I must be stronger than this. Must not say the forbidden word.

@darraghcoy
I'll rephrase that for you.
But can Martian/aliens play Crysis?
