On one forum (45ppl) ppl almost all ppl know each other very well for 6 months. Then come one new member and after 2 months 4 other members (who have personal argue with him - not on forum) try to blacken and provoke him and 2 from them start the poll to kick him out from the forum, accusing he that he is Spam (ha have more posts than the most of other people - almost 60% of what he wrote there are 100% neutral and informatve text), that he was abusive (which is not true, he had argue with some members who provoked him intentiousely. He answered as-polite-as-it-was-possible and without *cansured* words or malevolent allusions, which are used against him) and he just don't belong to the forum (reagardless of decision of both admins to let him in).

You agree with such actions/methods? Do you think them valid?

Okay, i'd change the poll to "Should we kick Mole out of the forum" if i were you man

It's normal people don't agree on a forum on everything, but it's sad to try to have people removed from the forum (even from personal reasons, in real life).

It's often that people abuse the anonymity of the internet blablabla

I was about to start a rant, but i stopped just in time. :D

[Diplomatic Answer]

From what i have read of your post, it atleast seems that this new member has been mistreated. There is a contradiction you explain that:

Quote:
that he was abusive. which is not true

This is strange that there is such misunderstanding.

Regarding the rest of the description, it seems as if this new member is very active and this may cause to annoy some people, however, as you describe him, he seems to have done no real harm.

Conclusion: Evidently, it seems that the forum is full of 12 year olds who enjoy ganging up and influencing forum policy. To the new member i say this: Is it really worth being in the same forum with a bunch of juveniles, no. Obviously, no one likes you in there and there will be too hard getting back on good terms. Just leave the kiddies alones.

[just my opinion and the notices]
There are not missunderstandings, the antagonists had a provocators to provoke him. But, he was not provocated to be a half rude as these provocators. After this, the antagonists used that, the comunity is still uninformed about the new member to make a picture like only he argued and everyone else were just innocent, peaceful beings.

[The fact]
Well, as I've said about 60% of what he wrote is pure informative text, requested from some members. About 20% is discussion about kicking him out and answer to unpolite posts, and about 20% ist normal chit-chat.

[Personal frustration]
On my forum that would not happen. Probably, actors of that morronish deed will be banned for two weeks and then for two more + a long (nasty) text about them, if the public apologize to this new (and prertty useful to the others, in comparing with these 4) is not enought deep.

Why I don't have such stuff under my power... ti would be funny.

That pretty much seems to sum up the situation.

new guy = gfreeman

objectivity is difficult when you only get one viewpoint.

regardless, banning someone from a forum is usually retarded unless they're spamming or just that stupid, neither of which would fit the gfreebie that I know.

 ...

Well, there is still the fact of running the poll vs. one mildly unknown member and that the action is took by four ppl who have a personal argue, which hasn't issued on the Foruim, with him.
