Post Re: Music
My exact reaction last night when I saw it the first time. Great cover, and toxicity is just a great song in general. It's funny how some artists' music can easily be carried over into other genres/music styles without losing its soul - for me, that says that the music is crafted exceptionally well.

This is a cello/classical cover of Kanye West's recent single 'All of the Lights'. Starts out with a sort of 'intro', but keep watching. It's amazing.

(I also love the soul the girl puts into the Toxicity cover btw)

I'm not familiar with the original Kanye West song.

Original:

I lolzed at the epilepsy warning until I started watching the video. At any rate, I don't like the original, and though I appreciate what the orchestral cover did, I don't really like it either. Doesn't mean I don't respect it, but Toxicity is definitely more my speed.

Here's the same chick that did Toxicity covering Cemetary Gates by Pantera. I actually found the cover first, then realized it was a chick too... then realized it was the same chick. She's pretty awesome. :)

Great freaking song though. Original:

Some old school Offspring. Beheaded from their first album with a fan-made claymation video. Pure awesome.

Haha, cool! I can imagine young(er) Satis running around Frankfurt with long hair and a doobie in his mouth now, playing the Offspring. :P

A 90's song I recently heard again, and enjoyed. Skin (the singer) is pretty awesome. Being attached to a truck's nose by a leather restraint jacket also scores cool points.

I'm drowning in school work lately, and when it's getting late (for me anything past 9 pm is late, especially if it involves work!) i tune in to this internetradio, this is what is keeping me afloat:

if you listen to it for a while, you'll get to know a lot of oldschool classics

Haha, you just like writhing blue girls! :P

Other great music from ME2...this is an amazing composition from about 1 minute in. I generally don't like the direction Bioware is going in with their games, but their composers are always top notch.

And the song 'Two Steps From Hell' (not an in-house composition, but great song) they used in the launch trailer pretty much won me over on the spot

Why aren't series' intro themes as epic as these anymore nowadays?

And of course
