These conversations just get so out of hand. No, noone gets my ass or a picture of it. Sleipnir has been officially chosen as a turtle name. We need 1 more. Shiny likes Artemis and Thor... however, I'm not too keen on either of those. Artemis is the wrong mythos, and Thor is kinda overused. So...what I'm looking for is Viking/Norse mythological name that's not cliche like Thor or Odin or something. The winner gets....NOTHING! |

Wodan. The old-German (Not-Norse) Odin. I like that name. It has... power. BTW, I /think/ I'm glad I'm not being mooned by Satis thru the post. My name won! yaaaay. |

You forgot .. Blastoise !! Or you could pick any of the 4 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, although i'd never do that myself. If you want vikinglike stuff: why not call it Drakkar, Thorgal, Asgaard, Walhalla, Loki, Balder, Freya, ... (just some random stuff that comes up in my head) |

Thanks,we have gone with Freya and Sleipnir. We will post pets with names at some point in the future more than likely so you may see the pets you have named. |

I always liked Freya too, or maybe that's just because i know this beautiful girl that's called Freya (no ox and lac, not "van den bossche"). Her sister is called Kitty btw, "Kitty is een mooi ding" was a song me and a mate always started to sing when we saw her (on a "cantus"), although we had no idea how the song was supposed to be sung. *drifts away in memories* |

I though your cantusses were men-only? |

Depends which cantusses, with the club from my picture it is, unless we decide to get together with a women-only club, that`s become a tradition the last few years to do that a couple of times. But other student cantusses are normally mixed. That`s mostly because ours is not connected to a certain study or school. Where i studied my first years, you could go to whatever cantus you wanted, in Antwerpen for example you only go to cantusses from one or maybe 2 different clubs. So 3 cantusses in one week wasn`t inimaginable. *drifts away in memories again* |
