lol, I hear you on the upset thing. Man....either I'm really dense when it comes to chick issues (lol, so what if I am?) or women are really, really strange. Gotta love em, though. It's either that or end up in a monastery like Ox.

As for there being something wrong and women not telling...there's a classic scene about it, can't remember which tv shows but anyway:

Man and woman lying in bed, woman with sad face and sighing.

Man: everything alright dear?
Woman: yeah...yeah, sure. (still sad face)
Man: ok then, night! (turns over, puts out the light)

It's that discrepancy between what is actually going on and what they say that Satis pointed out, I guess.
