lol, I'm talking with a bunch of beer purists, I swear. I mean, I have pretty good taste in beer, but I typically drink it out of the bottle. The way you guys are going on, I have a funny feeling I'd be shot for trying something like that.

Not shot right away, don't forget torture 
But it's true, most beers should be drunk out of a (more or less) proper glass. I don't mind if you drink Kriek out of a Palm-glass (or a narrow glass that opens up to the top, that works as well). But a good beer deserves a good glass.
It's like drinking Duvel from the bottle: it's just not the same (and not nearly as good).

I'll admit, beer from a glass taste better.
But then beer from a tap in a glass tastes the best.
Bottles are good for... well drinking from. Just not AS good.
