Agreed, conversations drift often to crazy hard to follow streams. And if you don't like to be around smoking, don't be around it. Here at least they have places for smoking, and places which it is not allowed. Don't take away my right to smoke, and I will not take away your right to suck your thumbs. *playful* 8)

Banning is not the answer, lets take away even more freedoms we have. If we let the small freedoms slip away, then slowly we are only asking for uprise in the society.

and if you read one of my earlier posts, i sugested make smoking only leagle within ones home, or in designated areas. just like skateboarding. Except unless you are rich, then skateing in your own house is difficult. Not that I try...

honestly, to show some more of my true side, we (although I only smoke when drinking which could be often) do not smoke in our home. Way to many animals which do not have the choice. But to take smoking out of bars, and such... and to not give the business owners a say in what they can and can not do in thier own establishments, well might as well take away the freedom to vote too.

Seems to be a lot more than that wrong in the USA when it comes to "freedom". They must have the biggest difference in content in what they say "we're the most free persons in the world!" and waht they do "let's monitor everyone that doesn't think exactly the same way as we say."

NO offense taken. You are correct, sorta. But again, maybe that is because the people did not care for one small freedom here and there being taken away which led to where we now are fighting to keep every freedom. Even if not popular at the moment trying to save what we were meant to have.

It must be hard argueing with blind patriots (aka morons) about such stuff...the way in which the question of waning freedom in the US is counteracted with ridiculous treats of being "anti-patriotic" and "traitorous" actually only proves how right you are about not being free at all eh.

one more thing i think most people here will apreciate that should be made a leagality, Men's loitering sections in womens shops. Unless the clothes or for the women to wear for the mens benefit, obviously he needs his say then. And vice versa, except it's less embarsing for a woman (i'd say) to be seen in the mens section.

Ox, I agree, sorta, but my "lack of being a patriot" is not a concern in the more educated circles. It seems only the people who fear what others think (typically the less educated religious circles) of their image would be truely careful of what they say. Wonder how many people I just pissed off... Muhahahaha 8)
